La Rochelle, France
In France now it’s autumn and it’s raining. La Rochelle is a nice historic and touristic city. I’ve never been to La Rochelle, but I’ve been in South France, Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Mougins. I love France and it has been a lovely experience to spend two summers there, with people I love, and people I met that I’ll never forget! This is also one of my favorite postcards, because it reminds me of a wonderful time spent in France.
Dobroudzha, Sofia, Bulgaria
I got this postcard on 29.10.2015 from Alexander. He’s in love with the north countries ^^. I loved his text on the postcard, and besides the lovely picture and how big the postcard is ( it’s bigger than all the previous ones) I loved the quote at the end of the text. It is from ”Once upon a time” : “You know what the issue is with this world? Everyone wants a magical solution to their problems, and everyone refuses to believe in magic.” Thank you Alex!
A postcard from Finland!
It is not handmade (or maybe it is, but it doesn’t look so) but I love it! It is so unique and special, and the quote has become my motto these days. I am a happy person and even when I have my bad days, I tend to be happy, so people around me won’t realize I’m having problems. This postcard is my favorite right now. And it has a special place in my heart. Thank you Joni! You made me happy with this postcard!
Bad Liebenzell, Germany!
A postcrossing card with pictures of what I believe is a very peaceful place. I love how everything is so green and wonderful, and it’s in South Germany. It doesn’t have much text on the back side, but I know the cats and the owner wrote the postcard together. 😉
Giant Sequoia, Sierra Nevada Mountains, California
A postcard from Savannah’s latest camping trip. I received it on 29.10.2015 and it shows the giant sequoia, with their massive trunks rising skyward/ They are the largets living things on earth. They can be seen in the greatest numbers in Calaveras Big Trees State Park and Kings Canyon, Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks. I really wish I had the opportunity to see those places and see these nature miracles with my own eyes.
Mecklenburgische Seenplatte, Germany.
This is a postcard from Jacqueline. She says this place is amazing for vacation, which I think it’s true by seeing all those incredibly stunning pictures. You can see places like Malchow, Robel, Plau, Waren, Kolpinsee bei Waren, Wesenberg etc. I love this postcard because it’s from Germany, the first one I’ve received and I really love the painted part, with the map. It seems unique.
Howdy partner! Greetings from Texas!
Second postcard from the United States, and it’s from Texas. On the card, you can see the State Capital in Austin and the State Flower – the Blue Bonnet. It is written on 19.10.2015, but I received it on 29.10.2015. I love this postcard because it really contains the spirit of Texas, you can see the colours, the cowboys, the landscape. It reminds me of those old movies I used to watch as a kid.
Bulgarian Wonders protected by UNESCO
Bulgarian Wonders protected by UNESCO, received on 25.10.2015 from Daniela. I have been to Bulgaria so many times because it’s close and borders with Macedonia. Bulgaria is very similar to our country. We basically share some of the customs and I must admit and say that whenever I go there, I feel like home. I like this postcard because it shows variety of places which are all beautiful on its own way.
Kromeriz, Czech Republic
Received it on 26.10.2015 from Kromeriz, Czech Republic. I like this amazing poostcard because it had a lot of stamps, 4 of them and a lovely star sticker. It also has a weather forecast, +10 Celsius with rain. I also need to mention the wonderful labyrinth, with flowers inside, it’s just priceless. This is my second postcrossing card I’ve received.
Texas Longhorn fun fact, United States of America
This postcard is the first one I received from Postcrossing. It is from the United States of America and I received it on 19.10.2015. It was written on 30.09.2015 with a lot of kind words and best wishes. This postcard has a special bond to my heart, because it is the first one I have from Postcrossing, and the first one from the USA. Fun fact: ,,The Texas Longhorn steer’s horns can measure over 9 feet (2.7 meters) from tip to tip. This is the widest horn span in the bovine world!”
