WWW Wednesday Tag #1

WWW Wednesdays (1)

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly tag revived by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. It’s quite simple. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The Three W’s are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. It has been on my TBR for a long time, and I accidentally stumbled upon it in my library and borrowed it. I am about half-way through, and I enjoy it, but I wish I have read it sooner.

The other book I recently started reading is All These Beautiful Strangers by Elizabeth Klehfoth. I got this book as a birthday gift from my sister, and I am so excited to read more!

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished Warcross by Marie Lu, and I absolutely loved it, and can’t wait to read WildCard. I am about to write a review on it, so watch this space. I also finished Day of The Accident by Nuala Ellwood, a psychological thriller that left be breathless. It comes out in early February 2019, so please check it out. You can read my review HERE.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Catching up with a few of my ARCs this month, An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen, and the Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas. They are coming out in early 2019, and I am so excited I have the chance to read them before they publish.

Follow me on all the social media (see links below), and don’t forget to leave a comment with your link. As always, I love reading your posts.

  1. Currently reading George Orwell – “Coming up for Air” – which I must admit I am finding a little boring so far. He seems to be dwelling on very mundane issues….but it is early in the book. I’ll have more to say on my blog later.
Recently finished Mira Grant – “Deadline” – a no brainer Zombie novel and I have to say I enjoyed it immensely and will read the next book in the series – Blackout soon.
BUT my next book will probably be either Linda Trubridge’s book “Passages” – about her family and their 10 years at sea as they made their way from the UK to New Zealand via many wonderful places enroute.
OR anything else from my TBR list….which grows with each day!
My blog – to do with books, authors, bookshops – anything book-ish – and also travel and photography – link – https://aliterarybent.wordpress.com/

      1. Thank you – very kind of you to say so. I’m still new to this…only 2 months into blogging… so any constructive criticism appreciated.

  2. Oh these books all look very good! I’m looking up that one you mentioned Day of the Accident!

  3. I have an unread ARC of the Day of the Accident sitting on my ereader waiting to be read (sometimes before February anyway) do you normally publish reviews so much before the publication date? Just curious as I tend to hold off till they are published.

    1. It depends, usually it’s as soon as I can read it, but not later than a month or two before publication. I think the reason we are getting ARCs is to raise the hype before they are published, so I post way before publish day, and share my post on publication day.

      1. Interesting. I tend to talk about them on twitter or goodreads before publication then post my review around the pubication date. There is no right or wrong way though. 🙂
