Fun fact about the candy apple
Thanks to Vicki and postcrossing (ID: US-3860417), I got this amazing card! It is the third one from the “Fun Facts” collection, and this time it’s about the candy apple.
I love candy apples!
And the candy apple was created in 1908 by William Kolb as an experimental window display at his confectionery store in Newark, New Jersey. The apples sold for 5 cents each and quickly became a hit.

Flowers of Finland for the international day of women
Photography and nature are a passion of mine. This card is definitely the best card I have ever received, and I know, I say that for every card I get, but this one is really a card that I admire a lot. This one is from Finland, with the ID of FI-2640399
The flowers have always reminded me of women. They are so gentle and beautiful,and you can love them endlessly, but be always careful not to hurt them.
As it’s International Women’s Day, I send these flowers to all women out there, to tell them they’re powerful, and beautiful, and as important as men are. They are brave and strong, and they are caring and lovely. They are all flowers, and they deserve to be happy. Not today, but every other day of the year.
