I remember my visit to Zurich, in February 2015, for a European Karate Championship.
I didn’t see an much of it as I truly wanted, but I got a little view of this wonderful city in a same condition like I see it on this postcard. And ahh, it brings me so many amazing memories from that time.
Marco (/u/penguinsontv), thank you so much for reminding me of this city!
This month I’m announcing the start of summer. In England it doesn’t really seem like summer yet, so I’ll be drawing a lot of ice-creams for you guys.
And the best thing is – you get to color them yourselves!
I have never been to India, but India reminds me of the old values of life. It reminds me of my childhood and then I get nostalgic about home, about Macedonia.
Athira says my name reminds her of her childhood. There was one Ivana in her first grade and was her only friend back then. It makes her nostalgic.
I remember my first grade. It was a little bit boring, because I already knew how to read. After a while, I just got used to the fact that I have to repeat all the letters with the children in my class. I had many friends. And time after time I started to lose them one by one. It was no one’s fault. It just had to be that way.
Or maybe it was my fault. Because I was different. I still am.
I never wore the clothes they did. I never put make-up in the ways they did. I always wore bracelets with dream catchers and evil eyes and handmade jewellery, and they thought I was weird. But I didn’t care. I still don’t.
I was weird, but I was me. And I love the ME I was and the ME I am.
And yes, that left me with just a few friends, those true ones, that accept my weirdness and we are together cool. I found a man that is weird with me, and it feels amazing.
And what more can you expect in life? I have everything I need.
This postcard was travelling a lot, that’s for sure, my friends!
It came from Hong Kong, and it took it 4 months. So, so long. But I’m glad it reached me.
I’ve never been to Hong Kong, and as the back of the postcard says, it’s an incredible place.
This postcard will show you the Victoria Harbour – Braemar Hil, which is located at the east of Hong Kong Island, near the Fortress Hill MTR station. It is near the Victoria Harbour but it is only 199 meters high. The view there is clear as there are not many buildings under it.
I am so, so, so sorry that I was away for a while. Maybe you missed me. Maybe not. Who knows.
While I was away I received not so many postcards honestly, but that is all because I am moving to England next week, and I wanted to have some two weeks time brake, so the postcards wouldn’t come to the Macedonian address, but go there, to the English one.
This is what I got while I was away. Well, this is just one of them, hehe 🙂
My boyfriend sends me postcards. But these two were special because of two reasons:
THE FIRST REASON
The postcards are not regular postcards. They are thicker than usual, and it makes them so special for me. My guy even wrote on the postcards, that we’re going to print our postcards on paper like this, so it will be high quality. This card is from Ankara, the statue of Zafer Aniti. I love it so much! It is special and precious to me, but I have to admit, I do love the other postcard more.
THE SECOND REASON
I looked at this postcard after I read the first one. And I thought: aww this one is from Istanbul. From Kiz Kulesi (Mainden’s Tower). And I turned to see the back, and to see what my baby wrote for me. But, I saw someone else’s handwriting. It was his mums. Baby, she has a better handwriting than you do hehe 🙂 She said a lot about Kiz Kulesi. She explained how it’s in Instanbul in the middle of the Marmara sea and you can see it from both the European and Asian side of the city. There is a restaurant on the first floor and a cafe on the second. I really love my boyfriend’s mum.
Today, I received a card, and I spent some time looking at this house. It is just perfect. I wish I could visit it, and I regret not travelling to North Dakota. When I have the chance, I’ll definitely go, and I’ll try to find this house!
I am sad though, because I don’t know who sent me this card. It is from Reddit, but it just haunts me.
Well, whoever you are out there, I hope you’ll see this post and read how thankful I am for receiving this card. It made me wonder who lived in this house, and if there are any people inside, living, even though to me it looks deserted and abandoned.
I just hope you’ll see how much I appreciate your card.
Hello guys! Today someone surprised me with Morph. Do you guys remember him?
Morph is an amazing animation that started in 1977 in the UK. This card comes from there too. He is 12cm tall and he is always made from a lump of clay. He has his own YouTube Channel and even 38 years later, you can still watch him there.
Here is a video of him, to remind all of us about this adorable creature, that we all love.
