Incredible postcard from Russia

Daria surprised me with this postcard. Not only the postcard is amazing, but it contains a lovely story of the Russian history. It’s a story about the princess Olga. She was born in 879 and after her husband’s death she became the ruler of Kiev and she decided to revenge the people that killed her husband Igor. She ordered each soldier of her army to take a pigeon or a sparrow and attach a piece of sulfur bound with a small pieces of cloth. And when they released the birds and the birds flied to their nests, all the houses were set on fire. And the whole city was on fire. She seems like a badass princess haha, but she was really clever and wise.
