Hi Everyone! Welcome to the 31st edition of my Down The TBR Hole Posts.
In this edition of the Down The TBR Hole, I keep most of the books.
How it works:
❤ 1. Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
❤ 2. Order on ascending date added.
❤ 3. Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books.
❤ 4. Read the synopsis of the books.
❤ 5. Time to Decide: keep it or should it go
Here’s the next patch:
➥ Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost
A vampire series that sounds intriguing, but I don’t think I will honestly pick it up soon.
Verdict: REMOVE ✖
➥ Uprooted by Naomi Novik
I have received Uprooted from my friend Alex and I am planning on reading it soon. The story sounds so magical, and knowing how much I love Russian fairytales, I know I will love this one.
Verdict: KEEP ☑
➥ The Riddle-Master of Hed (Riddle-Master, #1) by Patricia A. McKillip
I honestly don’t remember how The Riddle-Master of Hed ended up on my TBR list. I don’t think I will ever pick this book up.
Verdict: REMOVE ✖
➥ Conclave by Robert Harris
I haven’t read anything by Robert Harris before, but I think this book will be an interesting read, and will keep it for now.
Verdict: KEEP ☑
➥ The Maze Runner (The Maze Runner, #1) by James Dashner
Probably you have already heard about The Maze Runner. I have been wanting to read this book throughout my whole childhood. I have to get to it soon!
Verdict: KEEP ☑
➥ Logan’s Run by William F. Nolan
I have just found out about this book, and it has really intrigued me. I wouldn’t pick it up by the look of the cover, but I will definitely keep it on my list. The synopsis is too good.
Verdict: KEEP ☑
➥ Etiquette & Espionage (Finishing School, #1) by Gail Carriger
This one stays! I would die to have this book!
Verdict: KEEP ☑
➥ Every Breath by Nicholas Sparks
If you know me, you know my weakness is Nicholas Sparks, when it comes to romance. And this time, there is a new book around, and I haven’t read it yet. What am I waiting for?
Verdict: KEEP ☑
➥ Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik
Alongside Uprooted, this book has been hyped a lot, and I am eager to see if it’s really worth reading it.
Verdict: KEEP ☑
➥ The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row by Anthony Ray Hinton
A story I definitely would want to read. But I don’t own the book now, and I have many books already waiting on my shelf. So I will have to unhaul this one.
Verdict: REMOVE ✖
I only removed 3 books this time around. This is how my TBR list looks now.
Which books would you keep or remove? Please let me know in the comments because I love reading your comments and thoughts!
Wow nice post! 🙂 I need to try this on my TBR someday.
Logan’s run is a classic. Perhaps dated by now, but on the “Alternative Fiction Required Reading” list.
I’m glad you kept Etiquette & Espionage on your TBR list! This book is on my TBR list as well, but I haven’t gotten around to reading it yet.
