I did a summer challenge this year, where I read books that my sister recommended. Some of the books were cringy, but some of them were hidden gems and I am so grateful to her for letting me find them. This is one of the recommendations, but I never got to read it. I am keeping it, as I am curious how it will turn out.

➥ Toil & Trouble: 15 Tales of Women & Witchcraft by Tess Sharpe

Look at that cover! Ever since I saw it, I wanted to have it! And I kept hearing amazing stories, and I love witches and witchcraft. Can’t let go of this one.

➥ The Lonely Hearts Hotel by Heather O’Neill

Again, very hard choice, as I had this book on my TBR for a very long time, but every time I read that synopsis, I keep being reminded how much I need it.

➥ The Love of Her Life by Harriet Evans

I used to love reading these types of books, but at the moment I am not in a mood for chick-lit.

➥ Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak

Markus Zusak? Yes, please! But this time, I will remove this book, because I already have a few other books from him on my list.

➥ The English Agent by Clare Harvey

After reading The Night Raid, I had to read another another book from Clare Harvey. Looking forward to read this one.

➥ The Astrologer’s Daughter by Rebecca Lim

I am not sure why I have this book on my list. Seems alright, but not interesting enough to keep my attention.

➥ Murder at the Vicarage (Miss Marple #1) by Agatha Christie

I love Agatha Christie, and I loved the type of mystery she writes. This is the first book from the Miss Marple series, and I have to read it. AND SOON!

➥ Come Sundown by Nora Roberts

➥ The Obsession by Nora Roberts

I am putting both of the Nora Roberts books together, because I will remove them both. No particular reason, I actually love reading her novels. But she has so many, and I have a lot of them on my TBR, so I decided to only keep one at a time from her, starting from the ones I would want to read the most. And these two don’t seem that interesting at the moment.

My TBR has improved so much!!! I am so happy, and looking forward to listing all my books and reducing my TBR even more. I managed to remove 5 books this week.

I am actually not certain why I have this book on my TBR, but I think someone mentioned it to me a while ago. I love thrillers, but I don’t think this one intrigued me.

I remember wanting to read this book, as it’s about mountain survival. But it is also a romance, so I am not sure. Guys – let me know what to do with this one. I will wait a week and then remove it.

➥ Wicked Like a Wildfire (Hibiscus Daughter, #1) by Lana Popović

Lana is an author born in Serbia, a neighbour country to my country, Macedonia. And the cover is so delicious. And the story seems so great. And I own this book. Why is not in my READ shelf already?

➥ Save the Date by Morgan Matson

It seems like a read I might enjoy only in a certain mood. I also have no knowledge on how this hopped on my list.

This is a book that raised a lot of hype. The synopsis reminds me of a book I read when I was little – Taro The Dragon Boy by M. M…(edit).

➥ A Study in Charlotte(Charlotte Holmes, #1) by Brittany Cavallaro

A Sherlock Holmes re-creation, with the detective being a girl. GIMME!

➥ Defy the Stars (Constellation, #1) by Claudia Gray

Seems like a nice sci-fi story, but intimidates me, and I am not 100% sure if I will enjoy it.

➥ Caraval (Caraval, #1) by Stephanie Garber

A big hype around this one. I want to read it so badly!!!

➥ The Hidden Oracle (The Trials of Apollo, #1) by Rick Riordan

I want to read so many books from Mr. Riordan. Firstly, the Percy Jackson series, and then this one. I love Greek Mythology and always love reading these types of books.

➥ Flame in the Mist (Flame in the Mist, #1) by Renee Ahdieh

Something smells of Mulan here. Nevertheless, I want to read it so badly!

I know, I know, I only removed 4 this time, but hey – this was a great tough selection of books. And my TBR is getting ”healthier” and not so intimidating.
