A classic love story that I simply cannot miss or get rid of. This should actually be a priority for me for 2019.

➥ The Great Gatsby by Scott F. Fitzgerald

I classic again, worth reading. It is also a short read, so I will keep it.

➥ Because by Jack A. Langedijk

I think I won this as a giveaway around 4 years ago. I also think that this book is now back in my home country, Macedonia. I am letting go for now.

Verdict: REMOVE ✖

➥ Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira

I honestly have no idea how this was in my TBR, but after reading the synopsis I decided to keep it. It seems like it’s definitely worth reading.

Verdict: KEEP ☑  

➥ Christmas in Venice by Meadow Taylor

If you have read some of my previous Down The TBR Hole Posts, you know how I feel about old Christmas books – I probably might never read them, as new ones come each year. But this one seems like a short and interesting read, and I will keep it.

Verdict: KEEP ☑  

➥ Stolen: A Letter to My Captor by Lucy Christopher

I am currently involved with a lot of mystery and crime novels, and I am loving them. This one stays!

Verdict: KEEP ☑  

➥ Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

I can’t remove Anna Karenina. But I need to read it and get it off my list for sure.

Verdict: KEEP  ☑ 

➥ The Mayor of Casterbridge by Thomas Hardy

Another classic. How can I remove the classics? This is the reason they are classics – they need to be read, because they mean a lot.

Verdict: KEEP  ☑ 

➥ A Place Called Here by Cecelia Ahern

I love Cecelia Ahern, and have read many books by her. But at the moment I am not reading much romance, and I will put this one on hold.

Verdict: REMOVE ✖

➥ Never Look Away by Linwood Barclay

Another crime, but I will remove this one. It seems like something I don’t think I will enjoy as much.

This time I only removed 3. I know, I didn’t do great. But blame the classics. My TBR doesn’t seem to be getting smaller this week.

If you have read my Down The TBR Hole #2 post, I have kept The Nanny from this author. I am going to remove this one for now, with the note of: If I like her other book, I will re-add this one after.

➥ To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

This one stays, because I have wanted to read it since I was a teen. I am still certain that the story is lovely!

➥ Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth

I know – I am probably the last person you know that hasn’t read the books. I have seen the movies, and I am so eager to read the books. I am actually going to make this one a priority for 2019.

➥ Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

I know this one is a classic, but I can’t see myself reading it in the near future.

➥ Bridget Jones’s Diary (Bridget Jones, #1) by Helen Fielding

I have grown the Bridget Jones’s story by now. This one goes.

➥ One Moment, One Morning by Sarah Rayner

I honestly don’t know why and how this ended up on my TBR. I am removing it.

➥ The Only Boy by Jordan Locke

I want to know so bad if the hype for this book is real or not. I am keeping it!

➥ Mara (Unusuals, #1) by Veronica Bane

I remember how excited I was when I found out about this book. I wanted to read it so bad for months, but I lived in Macedonia and I couldn’t get hold of it at the time. I will definitely try to read this one next year!

➥ Paper Towns by John Green

John Green? Yes, please!

Verdict: KEEP  ☑ 

➥ Fifty Shades Darker (Fifty Shades, #2) by E.L. James

There was a time when I loved erotica. And I loved the first Fifty Shades of Grey book. And I have watched all the movies. But now, I am past all of that, and I don’t think I would want to give up my time to read this one.

Verdict: REMOVE ✖

➥ Pretty Little Liars (Pretty Little Liars, #1) by Sara Shepard

I have made this list a long time ago, and this is one of the books I should have read when I was 14. Right now, I can’t find the time to do this.

➥ The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri

A classic, and I have only read Inferno by Dante. I remember adding this book because I wanted to read the other two parts too. This one stays!

➥ Clay by David Almond

I have left this book back in my home country. If I ever go back and get it, I will read it. But for now, it can go.

➥ Bad Behaviour by Sheila O’Flanagan

Again, the same story. It is sad that I have left so many books behind. I even checked if the library had this one here, but unfortunately, they didn’t. Right now, it goes.

➥ French Kissing by Catherine Sanderson

And again – ahhh. I am becoming sad now. I am removing this lovely book too, but I have noted these to bring back with me when I can.

➥ I Am David by Anne Holm

I won this book on a giveaway, but don’t have it with me anymore. I never got the chance to read it, as I always kept finding other things that seemed more interesting at the time. I am letting this one go.

➥ The Hunchback of Notre-Dame by Victor Hugo

A classic that I have wanted to read since I was a little kid. I have to find time for this in the early 2019. People keep telling me how good it is.

Verdict: KEEP  ☑

➥ War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy

A long and big one this time. A famous classic, and all my Literature Teachers were talking about during high school. I never had the chance to read it, but this one stays, as I truly believe a person needs to read this one before they die.

Verdict: KEEP  ☑

➥ Holly’s Inbox (Holly’s Inbox #1) by Holly Denham

I actually don’t know why this book is here. I am not too excited after reading the synopsis and I am letting this one go.

Verdict: REMOVE ✖

➥ The Christmas Train by David Baldacci

I don’t remember adding this one as well, and after reading some reviews, I think I am going to pass. I have a lot of Christmas reads happening this year, so I don’t think I would have the time anyways…

This time I only kept 3 and removed 7. I am getting efficient. My TBR already looks smaller (who are we kidding? :D).
