She never turned back…

image

She was the type of girl that believed to everyone. She never saw the evil of people. She trusted them regardlessly. Always. And yes, she was hurt. Many, many times…

She was a girl. Knew so little about life and gave her best to satisfy the people around her. The awful thing was, nobody really cared. She gave everything she had, and no one ever said thanks.

Disappointed of life, and the evil people, she decided to change. She became this cold person on the inside, not letting anyone in. Never. Not a chance. She walk straight forward and she never turned back. That was her shield, of not being hurt. It was the easiest way!

Then someone came and fought through all the shields of protection she had. He fought for her attention and fought for her love, while showing her his! He showed her he appreciates everything she does, and for the first time, she felt worthy. He showed her the way, but the way of forward.

She never turned back, but she had a reason to move forward, because he was there, waiting for her!

If you never try, you’ll never know

Hello guys. I hope you’re doing fine.
I always want to try new stuff. And I have tried many new stuff this period.

It’s the unknown that makes me curious, and I want to learn it all. One of the things that made me curious was painting with watercolors. Since I do handmade postcards, I tried to make some handmade watercolor postcards, and I threw so many paper, because it wasn’t good, and I kept some, not worth taking a picture of, and then I made this one, which I really adore. It seems watercolor postcards will be my new favourite stuff to make.  😀

I still have a lot more work to do and upgrade my skills, especially with watercolors, but I am determined to do it. What do you guys think about this?

How to make a postcard from a single piece of paper. DIY

Hello guys. Today I’m going to let you inside my world. You’ll get the opportunity to see how I make my drawing postcards, and maybe it will be an inspiration for you to make one too, and show it to me after. 😉

You are probably wondering what you’ll need, so here is the list of requirements:

– Piece of paper (yes, one piece of paper. Only one. A4 format.)
– Pencil
– Rubber
– Glue
– Whatever else you think you’ll need to express your creativity (coloring pencils, ribbons, stickers, markers and more.. )
– I used retractable knife for cutting the paper, but I sometimes just fold the paper and then rip it out.

And yes, that’s all you need to make a handmade postcard. Oh also, creativity. You’ll need that too, but I’m sure you have lots of creativity inside you, so it won’t be a problem.

STEP ONE:

Take one piece of paper. Yeah, this is the easiest step, you guessed it.

image

Fold the paper in two and cut it in half. That way, you’ll have two equal pieces.

image

Cut those pieces in half too, and you’ll get four equal pieces, in a postcard dimension.

image

STEP TWO:

Take one of the four pieces of paper, and that will be the platform you’ll be drawing on. In this case I drew a couple hugging each other. And I only used pencil.

image

STEP THREE:

We are gonna use the three pieces that remained too. Take the glue and glue them together. That way, you’ll make a stronger platform, so the postcard will be thicker and it won’t fold.

Here’s how that looks.

STEP FOUR:

Make the postcard and send it to someone, and make them happy 😀 It is a lovely feeling, when you know someone has been thinking about you.
And don’t forget to send me a picture of what you did. I love seeing how I inspire people.

I love you guys,
Innah

A flower postcard ready to go out in the wild

I made a new postcard today. It is this flower one, that is all ready to go out in the wild and make someone happy. I don’t usually draw flowers, and now I realize I maybe should have spent more time on drawing flowers, since this drawing really calmed me down while I drew it.

What do you think about it?

I make handmade postcards from drawings

It might be possible for you to not know this, but I draw, and I love drawing. I mostly draw cartoon characters, because of my sister, and I upgrade myself every day and I am always willing to learn new stuff and experiment.

Because I love both drawing and postcards, I decided to combine that in one thing. And now, I basically draw a picture and make a postcard out of it, and I send it to people and bring them happiness. Isn’t that wonderful?

I also have this profile created here, in case you’d want to support my work.
